I don't see either Spider's Silk or Thick Spider's Silk drops listed for Swamp of Sorrows. This is actually a good place to get them. The spiders are all along the south eastern part of the area, they're lvl40-41, and there is no other mob around except the occasional Shadow Panther (lvl43).

I can confirm the best place to farm them, is Terokkar. Spiders have 5000-5500 hp instead of 7000 of those from BM so you can kill them very fast and raise the amount of silk gathered. Moreover best to go south-east of Auchindum because there you can find only spiders and not be attacked by warps.

Comment by warthog2k I find a good source for Ironweb Spider Silk to be any of the spiders in Western Plaguelands. I can normally drop about 4 of these in about 20-30 minutes of grinding. The spiders range from 50-55 and are non-elite mobs. At level 60+ you'll probably not need to worry about attracting aggro from the local bears or anything.

Average height. More than 12 feet. Fire spiders are spiders found in the Firelands and rare locations in Pandaria. Despite being native to the Firelands, they aren't that much different from the spiders found on Azeroth, aside from being slightly more fire-oriented.

Go to the platforms and other areas where you see what look like tall white water-striders. Play the harp, then loot the silk off the ground, it will be a round white circle in front of the silkstrider. Hunters, you can just run platform to platform, when you get there, feign death. You can play the harp while feigning death, seems odd but it works.

Spiders are a hunter pet family with the Ferocity specialization. It contains 42 available or upcoming looks and 24 unavailable looks...
